IUSB’s “Johnny Appleseed” at the ArtsEverywhere Performing Arts Series

For the third year in a row, the FREE award-winning ArtsEverywhere Performing Arts Series returns to the Chris Wilson Pavilion at South Bend’s Potawatomi Park.

This season, we’ve got a special show for children: Indiana University South Bend’s Raclin School of the Arts presents "Johnny Appleseed." This retelling of the story of Johnny Appleseed features plenty of interaction: Audiences are invited to feel as if they’re walking with Johnny along the Ohio River through interactive songs, guessing… Show more games, and lots of humor. With nearly 50 years of annual children’s performances, IUSB is known in our community for its commitment to producing accessible, entertaining children’s theater.

This year’s free Saturday night series has been expanded, featuring six evenings of some of our community’s best performing arts talent. You can bring a picnic dinner or buy it there: As in the past, Fiddler’s Hearth will offer food and drinks for sale at the park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
