South Bend Civic Theatre presents the musical "Into the Woods" on the Wilson Mainstage from July 27-August 12.
From legendary composer Stephen Sondheim comes "Into the Woods," a delightfully dark twist on fairy tale favorites. Familiar characters as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and others find their dreams but come to realize there is a another side to “happily ever after.”

Nicely performed play based on popular fairy tales, jack in the bean stalk, little red riding hood etc. Very good voice projection by the singers. Especially watch the performance of Jack's WHITE COW which he trades for the magic beans. She is at the edge of the stage, or at the corner of the stage the majority of the time. Watch her facial expressions !
